Zoom Into Adult Learning:
Creating High Engagement Presentations and Work Sessions
This interactive seminar presents practical strategies and innovative ideas for structuring and conducting engaging learning experiences for adults in a virtual environment. Three 2-hour sessions offer tested principles of learning and teaching that involve adult learners in meaningful explorations of concepts, ideas, and information using online learning tools. We will explore theory and practice by offering an effective design template and accessible presentation strategies for connecting audiences to you, to one another, and to important content.
Participants will learn to:
- Create a virtual space that balances participation and provides for all voices to be included
- Focus attention and engage the productive energy of group members
- Design productive work sessions that include a variety of individual, small, and full group strategies that support high levels of engagement and meaning making by participants.
Classes are limited to 24 participants
